The core characteristics of UPVC

Physical properties
High hardness and stability: without plasticizers, the hardness is significantly higher than ordinary PVC, the structure is stable, and it is not easy to deform.
Weather resistance: After modification, it has excellent resistance to ultraviolet rays, fading, and powdering, with a service life of more than 10 years (such as materials tested by QUV for more than 2500 hours).
Chemical resistance: Resists corrosion from most acids, alkalis, and oxidants, but may be affected by strong acid-base or saturation point chemicals.
Processing characteristics
High melt viscosity: Poor fluidity, requiring specialized plasticizing components and temperature control system (melt adhesive temperature 185-205 ℃, screw speed ≤ 0.2m/s).
Narrow molding temperature range: The resin molding temperature is close to the thermal decomposition temperature, making it difficult to process and requiring precise control of the mold temperature (usually 40 ℃) and flow channel design.
Safety and Environmental Protection
Non toxic hygiene: meets food grade standards and can be used in medical and drinking water systems.
Recyclability: Although the quality of recycled materials decreases with frequency, it still supports recycling.
